Upon our first visit to the Cooksley Ranch in the Sand Hills of NE I will always remember the silhouette of a yearling colt in the doorway at the end of the hallway. The neck on that colt stopped me in my tracks. And even though both front legs were wrapped because he had got his feet in wire, I knew that was going to be the junior stallion I was looking for to compliment the *Budapest daughters. Researching his pedigree and the historical use of the Shagya-Arabian in the Hungarian Kisberi horse breeding program confirmed my gut feeling. We kept H. Bikaver a stallion until he was 9 years of age. At that time we made the decision to geld him and start his sport horse career, an unbelievable career that continues today as an eager and willing riding horse.

H. Bikaver has schooled in events and clinics up through the Preliminary level with great coaches like Bruce Davidson and Lucinda Green. He competed at Training level. He has schooled and competed through 1st level Dressage. He has schooled fences up to 3'9", all with a junior rider.

Bikaver also played Polocrosse which he loved and earned him the nickname "Bull". This sport requires a very quick and agile horse. Polocrosse also requires the horse to interact a lot with other horses, as it is a team sport with 3 players going against 3 other players. Nothing fazed Bikaver making him a valuable goal horse. His accomplishments include:
